Interesting fun! This is a challenge and a brain teaser.  Question for all of you, students of Civilogia.  Who are we talking about here?  Who fits this description?  Who exactly?! You can uncover the answer from the clues - there's certainly enough provided! 

These descriptors comprise a UNIQUE  list.  These are verifiable facts, which only apply to the individual(s) featured.  Do you know the answer?  It's all pointing at the person we are highlighting. 

GUESS WHO THIS IS! description below....

He is born in/near Hyde Park, New York and spends his first years in Hyde Park.  He is born from a wealthy mother.  His mother spent much of her youth in the "Far East" (Eastern Asia), surrounded by the Pacific Ocean.  His father is a native New Yorker.  His father went to school in New York.  His father is affiliated with the Democratic Party.  In his youth, he is connected with the name "Cleveland".  

He grows up amidst the beautiful forests of the Hudson Valley, along the East bank of the Hudson River. For many years, he is located within a mile or two from this famous River of the Hudson.  He is filled with an immense appreciation for Nature and trees. He loves orchards and apples - common in the region.  He grows up in a household with a maid coming over and tutors.  He is immersed in the region of Hyde Park, occasionally visiting the Vanderbilt Mansion to play.

He had a significant romance with a woman of Scandinavian descent; she's his "princess". 

He is a major supporter of the arts and a patron of many artists.

On his own, not necessarily very public, he explores an interest in mysticism; especially that of "the East", traditions originating in Asia. 

He owned a cherished pet dog, which is of the terrier breed. 

If he could have done so, if he had the time and not so many other responsibilities, he would have been some sort of creative and imaginative producer, a movie mogul.
